Pret a Manger has opened its third Dublin spot in Connolly Station.
The sandwich shop franchise first arrived in Ireland last year with a prime location on Dawson Street. A second store was later unveiled at the Station Building on the corner of Harcourt Street.
Irish Rail confirmed the new venture with some snaps on Twitter over the weekend. They also teased that further retail plans across Irish rail stations were in the works.

Clare Clough, UK & Ireland's Managing Director for Pret A Manger said: “Ireland is an important part of our ambitious plans to bring Pret to more people around the world and a market we have wanted to bring Pret to for a long time. Thanks to our partners at Carebook Partnership, even more locals will now be able to enjoy Pret’s freshly made food and organic coffees and teas featuring a number of local ingredients and products. Our goal is to keep growing across the island of Ireland and around the world and look forward to serving new customers.”
Pret a Manger first opened in the UK in 1983 and is renowned for its range of sandwiches and organic coffee. People reacted positively to news of the latest development at Connolly Station.
One person wrote: "Great to see the old ticket office be refurbished into a new establishment, a good use of space."
Another added: "Welcome to Connolly. Class chain. Can we have one at Heuston kindly too."
