Preston vs Tottenham: FA Cup prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds today

Tottenham travel to Championship side Preston in the fourth round of the FA Cup this evening.

Spurs have been drawn away at Deepdale as they bid to progress in a competition that represents their best chance of silverware this season.

Antonio Conte’s side were lifted by their 1-0 win at Fulham on Monday but it promises to be a tricky evening against a Preston side chasing promotion in the Championship.

Spurs dispatched Portsmouth 1-0 in the third round, while Preston beat Huddersfield 3-1.

After drawing level with Jimmy Greaves on 266 Spurs goals with the winner against Fulham, Harry Kane needs just one more to become the club’s outright record scorer of all-time.

While Tottenham have looked far from convincing at the back in recent weeks, Preston are not exactly prolific when it comes to scoring. Only Huddersfield and Cardiff have netted fewer goals in the Championship this season.

With confidence still fragile, any win will do for Spurs as they look to finally kick their season into gear, and another narrow victory could be on the cards.
