Preston boss predicts 'tough challenge' from Nottingham Forest

Preston North End boss Ryan Lowe admitted he expects his side to right their wrongs against Nottingham Forest this evening (7:45pm kick-off).

Preston fell three goals behind at Deepdale against Reading last weekend before pulling back two goals.

Prior to the loss, however, Preston were unbeaten in their last six league games so the result came as a surprise.

Since Lowe was appointed manager back in December, the Lilywhites have only suffered two defeats out of his 13 games in charge.

But the 43-year-old is ready to battle to return to winning ways against a Forest side which he describes as "very well-coached."

"Steve Cooper’s done a fantastic job since he’s come in," Lowe said. "He’s a top man and a good coach.

"His team are very well-drilled, very well-coached and it’s going to be another tough encounter for us.

"Whether you’re playing Reading who are down at the bottom or Forest up at the top, every game is a tough game in the Championship as we well know.

"So we’ll respect Nottingham Forest for what they are but ultimately we’ve got to put on a show as we didn’t, especially in the first 30 minutes on Saturday, and it’s up to us to put those wrongs right.

"We’re expecting a tough challenge because they’re a good team."
