Rangers have dropped two points in their latest Premiership match with Livingston via a 1-1 draw.
The Light Blues were stunned early doors as Joel Nouble scored to put David Martindale's side ahead at Ibrox. Dundee had frustrated Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men midweek as they scraped a 1-0 win in the Premier Sports Cup and an identical theme played out here, with no shots on target registered in the first half as boos rang out after another dismal showing.
It had the feeling of a huge 45 minutes for van Bronckhorst but still his side were being frustrated and James Tavernier being the best sight of goal - a shot from 30 yards straight at Shamal George - showed how hard it was for the home side. They had a slightly better period in the second phase of the second half and were boosted by Morgan Boyes' red card for the visitors, with John Lundstram rifling in a late goal. Still, they find themselves under more pressure and four points behind Celtic in the title race, another bad performance pushing them closer to crisis point. Here are three things we learned about Rangers on another abject day in Govan.

Pressure heightens
Already there were questions being asked of van Bronckhorst after a run of dull performances domestically, on top of damaging European results.
They hadn't slipped on that run against Scottish opposition before this, but now they have fallen more than a game behind Celtic, next week's match against Aberdeen at Ibrox is huge.
No killer touch
It took almost an hour before Rangers registered a shot on target and that just won't cut it in front of a demanding home crowd.
The fact of the matter is that without that red card, it did not look likely that the Light Blues were going to score and that must be a source of concern.
Recruitment shown up
There were points in this game where 37-year-old midfielder Steven Davis found himself on the wing. Replacement from the bench Rabbi Matondo was subbed back off before the end.
John Souttar, Tom Lawrence and Ridvan Yilmaz were injured. Again Rangers were left relying on people they have done for a few seasons now, and it has the look of a squad badly needing revamped.
