Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27. His death was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office and by a family spokesperson, who said Gerber died Sunday at a rehabilitation facility.
An autopsy had not been completed as of Monday, and an official cause of death had not been released. A representative for Crawford, Rande Gerber and Kaia Gerber told multiple outlets, including CNN and NBC Los Angeles, that the family was asking for privacy during what was described as a difficult and painful time.

Gerber was the older of Crawford and Rande Gerber's two children and the brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber. Born in California in 1999, he followed his mother into the fashion industry as a teenager, signing with IMG Models at 15. He made his runway debut for Moschino at 16 and went on to walk shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Bottega Veneta, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren, in addition to a campaign with Calvin Klein.
In recent years, Gerber had been open about mental health struggles and substance abuse, speaking about treatment after he was arrested for a DUI in Beverly Hills in January 2019. In 2024, he shared a series of videos under the title "Mental Health Mondays," discussing his experiences. Just last month, in an August interview with Vogue, Kaia Gerber referenced her brother's public battle with addiction, saying, "When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone."
