During Tuesday's Cabinet meeting, President Donald Trump commended Secretary of State Marco Rubio, praising his performance in his current role. Trump expressed his belief that Rubio is well-suited for the job, stating, 'I think you're born for this job.' However, the president humorously advised Rubio against pursuing any other political office, emphasizing his effectiveness in his current position.
Trump highlighted Rubio's popularity and the respect he commands among his peers, underscoring the importance of Rubio's contributions. The president's remarks come in the wake of his recent comments suggesting Vice President JD Vance as a potential successor to the Make America Great Again movement. Trump proposed the idea of a future GOP ticket featuring both Vance and Rubio, indicating a potential collaboration between the two.
