President Biden's re-election campaign has confirmed that he will continue to run for office in the upcoming 2024 election. Despite concerns about his age following a lackluster debate performance, the campaign remains confident in Biden's support among key voter demographics.
The campaign's battleground states director, Dan Kanninen, emphasized that while some voters may mention Biden's age as a factor, the target voters crucial to the election outcome are still backing him. Kanninen stated that the debate performance has not significantly impacted support among these key voter groups.
Although acknowledging that the upcoming race will be challenging, Kanninen expressed the campaign's determination to secure victory in November. He reiterated that Biden is fully committed to winning the election and emphasized that there are no plans for an alternative nominee.

Looking ahead to the Democratic National Convention, Kanninen highlighted that Biden is set to become the official nominee in the near future. He called for unity within the party, urging Democrats to set aside internal conflicts and focus on defeating incumbent President Donald Trump.
As the campaign gears up for the election, Biden's team is focused on mobilizing support and building momentum for the upcoming race. With the nomination process nearing its conclusion, the campaign is working to rally voters behind Biden's candidacy and present a unified front against the current administration.
