President Joe Biden has made the decision to exit the 2024 race, with plans set into motion operationally and finalized recently. This decision comes as the President is still recovering from a Covid-19 diagnosis and has been staying at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden over the weekend.
According to a source familiar with the matter, President Biden has spoken to all of his family members regarding his decision to drop out of the race. His daughter Ashley and son-in-law Howard drove to Rehoboth earlier today to be with him during this time.
