The President's decision to not seek reelection in the 2024 race was revealed in a letter posted on X, where he also endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his preferred successor.

Following Biden's announcement, Vice President Kamala Harris garnered enough support from Democratic delegates to secure the party's nomination for president on Monday evening. This development positions Harris as a key figure in the upcoming presidential election.
