President Joe Biden’s upcoming primetime special interview is set to air on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. ET, as announced by the network on Wednesday. This high-profile interview will mark Biden's first televised appearance since the recent presidential debate. It presents an opportunity for the president to demonstrate his readiness for the challenges ahead, particularly in response to calls for him to step aside before the 2024 race.
The initial clip from the interview will be shown on 'World News Tonight' on Friday evening, with the full interview originally scheduled for Sunday morning. During the interview, Biden will be speaking with George Stephanopoulos on the campaign trail. Sources have indicated that an unedited transcript of the interview will also be released on Friday.
