President Biden's Granddaughter Navy Joan Acknowledged Publicly

U.S. President Joe Biden visits Allentown Fire Training Academy, in Allentown joe biden

During a Women's History Month reception at the White House, President Biden failed to acknowledge his seventh grandchild, Navy Joan Roberts, the estranged daughter of his son Hunter Biden. Despite having previously claimed to have only six grandchildren, Biden spoke about a future for his daughter and four granddaughters, omitting Navy from his remarks.

Last July, Biden publicly acknowledged Navy's existence, stating that he and his wife, Jill Biden, wanted what was best for all their grandchildren, including Navy. However, the couple had repeatedly excluded Navy from public acknowledgment, with instances such as omitting her from Christmas stocking displays and claiming to have only four granddaughters.

It was revealed through a DNA test in 2019 that Hunter Biden was Navy's father, despite his initial denial. Subsequently, a paternity and child support suit was filed by Navy's mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts, in May 2019. The case saw temporary child support agreements and later settlements, with Hunter agreeing to provide some of his paintings to Navy and her mother.

Despite these legal proceedings, Biden continued to overlook Navy's existence in public statements, including at a White House event where he claimed to have only six grandchildren. The ongoing family matter has drawn attention to the complexities surrounding the Biden family dynamics and the efforts to maintain privacy for Navy.
