President Joe Biden has decided to postpone his upcoming trip to Germany and Angola as Hurricane Milton poses a significant threat to Florida. The White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, announced the decision on Tuesday, citing the projected trajectory and strength of the hurricane.

The President's decision to stay in the country is aimed at overseeing preparations for Hurricane Milton and coordinating the response efforts. This comes in the wake of the ongoing recovery efforts following the impacts of Hurricane Helene in the Southeast.
