In a solemn ceremony at Dover Air Force Base, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden bore witness to the dignified transfer of three US soldiers who were tragically killed in Jordan. The soldiers, identified as Sergeant Rivers, Sergeant Sanders, and Sergeant Moffitt, became the first US service members to lose their lives since the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict.
The President, alongside the First Lady, walked side by side as they paid their respects to the fallen soldiers. The weight of this duty was evident, as one can imagine the tremendous difficulty and anguish that President Biden must be experiencing as he fulfills his role as Commander-in-Chief.
