Get ready for eight months of political intensity as the Georgia primary approaches, with both President Biden and Donald Trump making appearances in the battleground state. Trump, facing election subversion charges, took a harsh tone towards Biden, mocking his speech and character. In contrast, Biden focused on policy differences and character distinctions between himself and Trump, aiming to appeal to voters in Atlanta suburbs.

Georgia, a politically contested state, holds a small but crucial number of persuadable voters, particularly in the Atlanta suburbs. Both campaigns are targeting these voters with tailored messages. Biden's campaign ad, addressing concerns about his age with humor and emphasizing experience, received positive feedback from Democrats.

On the other side, Republican Senator Katie Britt faced criticism for inaccuracies in her State of the Union response, particularly regarding an anecdote about sex trafficking. The speech, aimed at highlighting the border crisis under Biden, was scrutinized for factual inaccuracies, leading to SNL parodying the incident.

Britt's missteps may impact her standing on the VP list for Trump, although his decision-making process remains unpredictable. With months to go until the convention, the VP pick is expected to be announced later.
