Erling Haaland was formally awarded the Golden Boot after a record-breaking season in the Premier League after Manchester City’s final day loss to Brentford.
The Norway forward has scored 36 goals in the League alone to send shockwaves around what is considered by many to be the most competitive division in world football.
Harry Kane, however, finished only six goals behind the City star playing for a Tottenham team seemingly in a state of crisis for much of the campaign.
It is the second time the England captain has hit the 30 mark in League season and Kane becomes the only player not named Alan Shearer to achieve that feat.
Brentford’s Ivan Toney finished third with 20 goals as he starts a lengthy ban, while Mohamed Salah finished one behind on 19 despite a poor season for Liverpool as a whole.
Callum Wilson and Marcs Rashford finished fifth and six respectively with hauls of 18 and 17.
Here’s how the standings look after the final day
