The Premier League season has ticked into September the sixth gameweek gets under way.
A packed Saturday schedule kicked off with a goalless Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool before six 3pm kick-offs took focus, including two London derbies as Chelsea overcame West Ham in a dramatic affair and Tottenham saw off Fulham. Brentford beat Leeds and Crystal Palace held Newcastle to a draw.
The evening game saw Manchester City draw at Aston Villa as Erling Haaland added another goal to his tally.
A reduced Sunday schedule - with Chelsea vs West Ham moved a day earlier - kicked off on the south coast with Brighton beating Leicester. Arguably the biggest game of the weekend was the final one as a resurgent Manchester United became the first team to beat Arsenal.
The Gunners, however, remain top but will need to dust themselves down after a fiery game at Old Trafford.
