The Premier League have announced changes to the rules regarding COVID-19-related postponements.
A number of games were cancelled before, during and after the festive period as most clubs were without several members of their senior squad.
The rules stated that if a team had less than 13 outfield players and a goalkeeper from ‘either its squad list or its appropriately experienced Under-21 players’, then they had a case for a postponement.
