No sooner has the curtain fallen on the Premier League season for 2022/23, predictions are already being drafted for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign. The division underwent plenty of change over the year just gone as Manchester City lifted the title for a third-time in a row, but this time were challenged by a resurgent Arsenal.
Manchester Untied fought their way back into the top four and were joined by Newcastle United, who will look to make their mark amongst Europe's elite. Liverpool endured a tough campaign and will be joined by Brighton in the Europa League, while Aston Villa took the final continental space with the Europa Conference League, meaning Tottenham miss out alongside Chelsea after dismal seasons.
The relegation battle went down to the wire, but it was Everton that lived to fight another day, relegating Southampton, Leeds United and Leicester City to the second tier. In their place, Burnley and Sheffield United are welcomed back to the Premier League, while Luton Town will be newcomers to the top flight, featuring in the final season of the first division before it became the new format.

While there are plenty of things to be decided before the start of the new league campaign, such as the small matter of the summer transfer window and then the chaotic nature of the season itself, predictions are already being made. A supercomputer from LegalSportsbooks has already given the predictions a go, despite the league only just ending.
Arsenal are predicted to battle for the title once more, but it could be a repeat of this year's heartache as they are down as second in the listing - with 9/1 odds of winning the league. Predictably, it's Manchester City who are backed to win the Premier League again, as short as 8/15.
The good news for Chelsea and Tottenham is that their stint outside of Europe won't be long as they are given sixth and seventh respectively. That could all change in the coming weeks though as managerial shuffles and player transfers could make key differences to the season.
Predicted league finish:
1 - Manchester City
2 - Arsenal
3 - Liverpool
4 - Manchester United
5 - Newcastle United
6 - Chelsea
7 - Tottenham
8 - Brighton
9 - Aston Villa
10 - West Ham
11 - Crystal Palace
12 - Wolves
13 - Brentford
14 - Fulham
15 - Everton
16 - Nottingham Forest
17 - Burnley
18 - Bournemouth
19 - Sheffield United
20 - Luton
