Premature baby found dead in a field as police launch major health appeal for mother

Police Dorset Police

An unborn baby was found dumped in a field on Thursday afternoon, as police attempt to track down the lifeless child’s mother.

Police were called at about 3.50pm on Thursday to reports of a human foetus being found on Canford Heath in Poole, Dorset.

Officers launched a search for the mother over concerns for her welfare.
