A man kicked his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach before dragging her around her house by her hair.
Just a few months later Ashley Geraghty, 35, attacked her by pinning her down and strangling her, and also gave her a black eye by punching her in the face.
Manchester Crown Court heard that the victim was effectively "imprisoned" by him. Geraghty and his partner had been together for some time before the relationship came to an end after he was unfaithful, North Wales Live reports.
