Pregnant woman 'collapses' as passengers endure eight-hour wait on plane

A pregnant woman "collapsed" on a plane at Manchester Airport as hundreds of passengers were left waiting for hours to take off.

Due to a fault with a Cathay Pacific flight, two other planes became stranded behind it for hours on the taxiway on December 15. It meant a Brussels Airline and a TUI flight to Cape Verde were both waiting behind the Cathay Pacific aircraft to Hong Kong, reports Manchester Evening News.

An apology was later released by Cathay Pacific and said engineers would be inspecting the plane. Chris Brereton, who was heading to Bruges, said a pregnant woman "collapsed" on his flight.
