Pregnant mum thought numb toes were down to baby pressing on a nerve

A mum who woke up and couldn't move her toes put it down to her pregnancy but was later given a devastating diagnosis.

Laura Elizabeth Mahon, from St Helens, was 20 weeks pregnant at the time and said she "didn’t think too much about it". But she was later given the devastating news she had an incurable brain tumour.

The 29-year-old said: “I didn’t think too much about it, after all I was pregnant and was feeling tired. But things got worse the next day and I could no longer move my right leg and was struggling to walk.
