A pregnant mum was hit and killed by a 'speeding' motorist after she had pulled over onto the hard shoulder to answer a phone call, a pre-inquest hearing has been told.
Frankie Julia Hough, 38, from Oldham, greater Manchester, suffered fatal injuries on the M66 motorway Saturday, May 13 and died two days later in hospital.
As inquest proceedings today formally started, it emerged Ms Hough had safely pulled over to answer his mobile phone.
