Pregnant Molly-Mae Hague confesses to trying to 'breastfeed herself' as she's seen amid social media silence

Fans of Molly-Mae Hague are convinced she has welcomed her first child into the world amid her social media silence. The former Love Island star is usually offering updates to her millions of Instagram followers but shared her last post on the platform last week.

The mum-to-be shared two snaps to her Instagram grid showing her donning a branded robe which showcased her blossoming baby bump. Molly-Mae looked fresh-faced and showed off her natural locks after ditching her usual long, glossy extensions in preparation for becoming a mum.

Molly-Mae and her boyfriend Tommy Fury, both 23, announced back in September that they were expecting their first child together, three years after meeting and falling in love on Love Island. The pair, who made it to the final of the ITV2 dating show in 2019, then later revealed they were expecting a girl.

"I really couldn’t have asked my body to provide a better home for the first 9 months of our little girls life…" Molly-Mae penned alongside her last Instagram post. "So blessed to say my pregnancy has been a complete and utter dream." Tommy was quick to respond to the post, simply writing: "Love you," while best pal Maura Higgins simply commented with a string of red hearts.

She has since been quiet on her Instagram page, which boasts more than 6.9 million followers but has been seen for the first time in her new YouTube vlog. The influencer shared a new video on Thursday (January 26) which saw her become tearful as she packed her hospital bags.

But the new video also saw Molly-Mae make the surprising confession that she once attempted to breastfeed herself after being concerned she wasn't producing any milk. Sat in a purple sweatshirt with her blonde locks scraped back into a bun, the Pretty Little Thing creative director said: "Screw it, I'm just going to say it," with a smile.

"I tried to put my own nipple in my mouth! My boobs are that big now that it is actually possible. I actually tried to breastfeed off myself the other day! I was saying to Tommy that I'm concerned - some of my friends have been leaking milk from like 20 weeks or they at least have little drops of colostrum or there's just something coming out, like a little bit of movement there.

"But my boobs are dry! Like, there is nothing, there are no signs of anything so I thought, let me just give it a little test. And nothing happened!"

As she packed her designer hospital luggage, Molly-Mae also explained why she was taking so much to the hospital with her. She shared how she has ditched the North West, where she lives with Tommy, to give birth in London. "I made the decision to bring a suitcase.," she said. "I know I'm going to get so many comments like what on earth are you doing, you're packing too much, but I'm giving birth in London.

"I haven't spoken about this yet but I'm having baby girl in London. I'm hoping it will make sense as to why it may look like I'm packing excessively. We decided to have our birth there for privacy reasons and to try and make us feel the most comfortable and secure. The main reason is for privacy."
