Lauren Goodger has announced she is pregnant with a second daughter as she admits she 'would have been happy with either' a boy or a girl after falling pregnant again.
The former TOWIE star revealed on Monday that she was expecting her second child, another girl, just six months after giving birth to her first child Larose.
The 35 year old welcomed her first baby in a dramatic home birth with her ex boyfriend Charles Drury, who is also the father of her second baby.
The star is now 16 weeks pregnant and is over the moon to have a little sister for Larose.
But she admitted it was a shock to not be having a boy.
She spoke to OK! about how she thought she would have a boy the second time around.
Lauren explained why she was adamant she was having a boy this time as she said one of her scans looked identical to ex boyfriend Charles, who she split from in November.
She said: "I really thought it was a boy because of how I’m carrying and the bone structure on the first scan – it just looked like Charlie.
"It’s a smaller bump. It popped out straight away when I had Larose and that’s why I thought this baby was a boy, because I’ve heard you carry smaller with boys."
However, she was equally as happy to be having a second girl as she knew it would be good for Larose to have a little sister too.
Lauren had a hospital scan in December where she said she 'felt connected' to her baby.
However, she explained that with her first pregnancy she had multiple private scans but with her second she trusts her body more.
She said to keep the pregnancy healthy she takes vitamins and has had three scans so far, including the gender reveal.
The new baby and Larose will be very close in age but Lauren said this won't be a problem as they'll able to be close with each other as well as being able to re-use items from the first time around.
Charles and Lauren have recently split up after he admitted to seeing another girl when the pair were on a break.
Lauren felt like she was just getting herself back together when she found out she was pregnant again, so was in two minds about going ahead with it.
She said: "We weren’t very careful and Charlie was really pleased, but being honest I was really in two minds about it. I was like, 'I’m just getting myself back together – I’m going back to square one. Is this fair?"
Lauren felt that she would feel 'mum guilt' as she wouldn't be able to focus on Larose as much but realised that she may as well go ahead with the second pregnancy while she was still in baby mode.
Her and Charles decided to keep their second child despite not being together anymore.
