Gemma Atkinson teased she is set to take part in a new project 'to be announced soon' as she was asked about the upcoming birth of her second child. The Hits Radio host is preparing to welcome a baby boy with fiance Gorka Marquez any day now and has honestly shared her pregnancy journey with fans.
On Tuesday (June 14), Gemma shared how she and her Strictly Come Dancing star beau had been to what could be their last scan ahead of their son's arrival. "We've just been to what could be the last growth scan before little fella arrives," Gemma said to the camera as she filmed an update alongside Gorka in the car confirming she was 36 weeks into her pregnancy.
"He's in the right place, perfect size..." the 38-year-old continued before Gorka, 32, interjected: "With his head between your legs." To which Geamm said: "Yes..." and Gorka added: "I'd say the right place."

Gemma then went on to heap praise on The Royal Bolton Hospital where she had been for the scan, and where she also gave birth to Mia who she previously hailed for saving both of their lives. "I can't rave about that hospital enough, you know," she said.
"They were incredible last time with me and Mia and the team, some are the same, some are different, are just wonderful. I feel like I'm in good hands so God bless them. God bless that NHS we've got but yeah, all good!"
Following her trip to the hospital, Gemma responded to a message she received asking if she would be able to share any information she had picked up about having a vaginal birth after a cesarean. "Been asked about this a lot!" she typed in response alongside a screenshot of the message.
"We've been working something the last few months," she went on to write alongside a string of video camera emojis. Gemma then teased: "To be announced very soon which will hopefully help a lot of people."
The former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star then appeared in a video shared to her Instagram Story as she spoke directly to the camera. "But to answer the question, yes, my plan is to do VBAC," she said referring to having a vaginal birth after previously having a c-section."
"But I also know you can't plan with babies being born as they came as and how and when they want. Planning for VBAC but if I have to have an emergency section again, I've done it before so either or. I'm just going to know that on the day, when it happens, I'm happy to surrender and do whatever is safest and healthiest for little fella and me.
"But like I say, something is coming," she added before explaining the reason for her being stood over what appeared to be a kitchen counter with a t-shirt held up to her neck. "I've been sat in the garden with my chebs out because I'm sweating and I can't the a***d to put this [t-shirt] back on so hence this little napkin, I'm going to go back out now."
And she did just that as she soon returned to the social media platform with a video of herself chilling in her daughter's paddling pool, stripped down to her bra with her blossoming bump proudly on display, as she soaked up the sun while tucking into a packet of digestive biscuits.
"Mat leave be like," she captioned the video with a sunglasses face and crying laughing emoji. Gorka meanwhile shared a string of snaps of himself enjoying the cooling water with their three-year-old daughter, Mia. "Paddling pool evenings are a thing now," he said as his fans and follower started to comment.
@stephbiggin asked: "How is a heavily pregnant Gemma coping?" to which the dancer replied: "In the other side of the pool [crying laughing emoji]." And when @laurahob_x wrote: "Love it," Gorka posted back: "@glouiseatkinson did too," with more crying laughing emojis.
Gemma has since continued to prep for her newborn's arrival by heading to the salon to get her blonde locks freshened up. After sharing pictures of two adorable pooches taking up a place at the hair washing sinks, writing: "Two of the perks coming to @emilyrosemonkhair_," Gemma appeared in a video.
"And the third perk is fresh hair!" she said as she appeared back in the car. "We've gone a tiny bit darker underneath so that it is a bit easier to maintain when little man arrives but I love it. Absolutely love it," she continued as she wafted her fresh locks around while she wore sunglasses to cover her eyes. "I feel very glam. Only for today though because obviously in the morning it won't look like this."
