Predicting the Eagles upcoming 6 game stretch, which will be the toughest in NFL

To be the best, you have to beat the best, and the Philadelphia Eagles will face a six to seven-week gauntlet of playoff teams starting with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Over seven weeks, including the bye, the Eagles will face the Cowboys twice, along with the Chiefs, Bills, 49ers, and Seahawks.

Philadelphia has the league’s most brutal schedule, and they’ll need to maintain that edge and killer instinct on a week-to-week basis, as they experience being the hunted like they’ve never seen.

Knowing what we know about every team on the schedule during this stretch, we’re updating our predictions for the next seven games.

The Eagles will host the Cowboys in the first of two meetings before getting a much needed bye. Philadelphia will look to win this matchup, and utiliize as a springboard into a six game stretch of playoff teams.

Jalen Hurts and Dak Prescott have yet to square off as established superstar quarterbacks, and Week 9 marks the spot for this late afternoon showdown.

Philadelphia is the home team, and they’ll escape with the win in the first of two battles within seven weeks.

Prediction: Win 8-1

The Eagles and Chiefs share the Week 10 bye, meaning NFL fans will get a game-of-the-year caliber matchup at Arrowhead Stadium with both teams entering the contest rested.

Philadelphia enters as the hunters in this Super Bowl rematch, and they’ll leave with the road upset.

Kansas City is banged up, they’re struggling to protect quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and don’t have an elite pass catching option outside of Travis Kelce.

Prediction: Win 9-1

Week 12: Sunday, November 26 vs. Buffalo Bills at 4:25 PM+ (CBS)

Philadelphia could get a Super Bowl preview when Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills travel to Lincoln Financial Field.

The NFL schedule brings highs and lows, and after defeating the Chiefs on a Monday night, will Philadelphia have the juice at home on a Sunday afternoon amid the Thanksgiving holiday weekend?

Upsets happen, but the Eagles are starting to hit their stride, so we’ll reverse course from our earlier prediction and give the Birds a win.

Prediction: Loss 10-1

Week 13: Sunday, December 3 vs. San Francisco 49ers at 4:25 PM+ (FOX)

The NFC Championship game rematch will be held later in the season and smack dab in the middle of the seven week gauntlet.

Philadelphia hosts the Niners at Lincoln Financial Field, and Nick Sirianni’s Eagles will enter the game adequately motivated after an offseason full of trash talk. San Francisco added Javon Hargrave in free agency, and traded for Chase Young and it still won’t matter as Brock Purdy finishes this game with a loss.

Prediction: Win 11-1

Week 14: Sunday, December 10 at Dallas Cowboys at 8:20 PM+ (NBC)

In the second of two intense matchups, the NFC East rivals will meet for a final time, and the game will have playoff implications.  The contest is a shootout, but Philadelphia wins, and Eagles fans take over AT&T Stadium.

Prediction: Win 12-1

Week 15: Sunday, December 17 at Seattle Seahawks at 4:25 PM+ (FOX)

The Seahawks are loaded on offense, and Philadelphia will travel to the Pacific Northwest after an intense matchup with Dallas.

The West Coast isn’t the best coast so late into the season, and after trading body shots with Dallas in a win over the Cowboys, the Eagles suffer from jetlag in a late afternoon loss at Seattle.

Prediction: Loss 12-2
