If you were ever going to put your house on Leeds United remaining unchanged, this seems to be the weekend to do it. Jesse Marsch reported no new injuries in Thursday’s press conference, which means he is expected to retain faith in the 11 players who delivered the finest performance of his tenure.
Liam Cooper, Patrick Bamford or Luis Sinisterra seem to be the only men remotely capable of forcing a change and they all have reasons to be left on the bench. Cooper may be the captain and a vital voice on the pitch, but he has played 45 minutes since early June.
Robin Koch and Diego Llorente have started the season well, so there is not even an opening for Cooper to force his way into necessarily. Bamford’s fitness remains questionable and, as Marsch said this week, while the team is scoring goals there seems no need to risk the number nine.

Sinisterra caught the eye against League One Barnsley on Wednesday night, but even Daniel James, the more low-key of the front four last weekend, was superb in his pressing and harassing of the opposition. The Colombian forward can take his hour-long run-out from midweek and look to affect the game from the bench at Brighton & Hove Albion.
Predicted line-up: Meslier; Kristensen, Koch, Llorente, Struijk; Adams, Roca; James, Aaronson, Harrison; Rodrigo.
