A woman has received a personalised Christmas card from her Royal Mail postman of him and all the pets in the neighbourhood. Job operations specialist, Kacie Harley, 29, of Carlton, had the custom card posted through her letter box during the week leading up to Christmas.
The card features dozens of photos of 'Postman Matt' with animals from the area that he has met through delivering the post. On the inside of the card, he has written: "Wishing you a lovely Christmas and a very happy new year, love from Postman Matt."
Kacie said: "When he posted he put on the front 'to my tuxedo friend' as one of our cats is black and white and looks like she is wearing a tuxedo. I didn't get it at first, and then I opened it and was OMG that is so sweet."

Kacie explained that she thinks he made and delivered the cards to all the households in the area with animals that he regularly sees and makes a fuss off. Some of the photos were selfies and some had clearly been taken by the owners, which Kacie described as "so lovely."
She added: "He has gone out of his way to make it, he has posted it himself, and he is one of those postmen that always has a smile on his face and is always polite and cheerful. He always makes a fuss of all the local animals, which is funny as postmen don't usually like dogs. He's such a credit to royal mail."
Kacie said she was touched to get the Christmas card, and described it as "one of those really heart-warming moments." She continued: "I almost wanted to track him down and give him a cuddle.
"It really really touched me, as I know Royal Mail are under stress at the minute, and he's just a credit to that company."
