Councillors spent almost an hour paying tribute to a former county council colleague who passed away in late November last year following a battle with cancer.
One by one, councillors from all parties stood up to praise longstanding politician Councillor Maureen Dobson, who represented Collingham as an independent councillor on Nottinghamshire County Council and Newark and Sherwood District Council.
They also took time out to praise and remember former Nottinghamshire county councillor Jackie Jenkin-Jones, who died in December.
