Powerful Vicky Phelan film given cinema release date

The award winning feature documentary about Vicky Phelan has been given a cinema release date and will hit Irish theatres on Friday, October 7.

The film, simply titled Vicky, charts the 48 year old campaigner's fight to expose the truth of the CervicalCheck scandal as well as her personal fight to stay alive.

In 2018, Vicky gave a now famous speech on the steps of The High Court, exposing the cervical cancer debacle, one of the most prominent women's health scandals in Irish history.
