A new Poundland will soon be opening in Glasgow, with the budget store taking a spot in a popular retail park.
The new store will open in an empty unit in the Gorbals Crown Street Retail Park, with 'Coming Soon' signs currently hanging outside the location. The new store will be situated net to JD Gyms, with the retail park already home to major names including Burger King, Costa, Aldi, Greggs, Food Warehouse and B&M.
The retailer is also advertising for prospective workers to apply as the new opening will create a number of vacancies.

A Poundland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: “We’re working hard on plans to open a new store at Glasgow Crown Street Retail Park in the spring. It’s going to be a special store, with more of what customers need and at the amazing value we’re famous for.
"We’ll have more details to announce in the next few weeks.”
The new store follows plans to re-open the branch on Dumbarton Road in Patrick after the store moved in January last year.
