The Baltimore Ravens traded away No. 1 wide receiver Marquise Brown during the 2022 NFL draft, creating a void at the position. It later came out that Brown requested his way out of Baltimore, so there wasn’t much the team could do in terms of keeping the talented pass catcher.
The Ravens opted not to draft a wide receiver during the entirety of the 2022 NFL draft, leaving the position with not a lot of experience at the professional level. It was rumored that they were interested in a handful of veteran wideouts, including Jarvis Landry. However, on Friday Landry chose his next NFL team, and it wasn’t Baltimore, taking his talents to the New Orleans Saints instead.
