Liverpool's Premier League clash away at Chelsea this weekend has been postponed, the Premier League confirmed on Monday.
Three of the 10 league games scheduled to take place later this week have been called off following 'extensive consultation with clubs, police, local Safety Advisory Groups and other relevant authorities'. Along with the game at Stamford Bridge, Leeds United's visit to Old Trafford and Brighton's game against Crystal Palace have also been postponed.
The Reds will now have two of their league games rescheduled after football was halted over the weekend following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday. The home game against Wolves, and now the match against Chelsea, will have to fit into an already intense schedule.
