Posts have appeared on a gunman's Instagram page stating "it was me who shot up" a week after he was jailed for life for shooting an innocent schoolgirl.
Rio Jones was handed a lifetime imprisonment with a minimum term of 16-and-a-half years on Tuesday last week after being found guilty of attempting to murder Shakur Watson. It came after a 15-year-old was struck in the neck by a stray bullet as the teenager discharged six gunshots as he pursued his rival gang member through the streets of Toxteth on an electric bike.
But, late on the evening of Tuesday this week, a post appeared on what is believed to be the 19-year-old's Instagram page. This showed a picture of a male with his hood up and face covered.
