Post Office workers suffer pay freezes to 'save their boss's bonuses', union claims

Post Office CWU Communication Workers Union

A union has accused the Post Office of denying around 2,000 workers a pay rise in order to ensure that managers get bonuses.

The Communication Workers Union says it has been told the Post Office made a trading profit of £39million in the year to April.

That would be £1m above a threshold it claims would trigger a bonus payout for about 600 managers.
