Post Office workers due to go on strike in dispute over pay

Post Office Communication Workers Union CWU

A pay dispute has led to a flurry of Post Office workers going on strike over the jubilee weekend. Members of the Communication Workers Union at Crown Post Offices - one of the larger branches most seen on high streets- will stage a walkout on Saturday while both administration and supply chain networks will walk out on Monday.

It comes after similar industrial action took place earlier this month. The union said Post Office management is focusing on a pay freeze for 2021-2022 while adding a "marginally improved" pay offer for 2022.
