Post Malone has thanked his new fiancee and mother of his child for helping him in his time of need.
The singer, 26, candidly admitted he previously struggled with alcohol addiction, but insisted he's "responsible now".
He opened up on the hard time in his life while speaking on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show earlier this week, saying: "It was to a really rough point, and I couldn't get up off the floor for weeks.
"It was screwdrivers, it was vodka and it was bodying fifths and trying to hang in there and talking to people who weren't f***ing there."
He confessed that pals such as Justin Bieber had tried to offer him guidance in his time of need, but he still felt "trapped".
Thankfully, he realised he needed "to do a lot less talking and a lot more listening" and took on board advice from others, including his fiancee.
He now credits her with helping him find his way again, saying: "I met a really beautiful person that made me feel like a human being again.
"It's the guidance out of the dark into the light. She saved my f***ing life—it's pretty epic."
During the chat, the musician also announced they had welcomed their first child to the world.
When speaking about his morning routine, the Wow singer said he 'kisses his baby girl' before leaving the house.
The comment left Howard confused as to who he was talking about and he asked: ""Like, baby girl are you referring to your girlfriend or do you have a baby?"
Post, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, replied: "No, that's my daughter."
When Howard responded by asking if this was common knowledge, Post admitted he wanted his baby girl to make her own decisions when it comes to being in the spotlight.
Post first shared the exciting news about his now-fiancée's pregnancy at the beginning of last month.
He was over the moon as he announced his longtime partner - who he keeps out of the spotlight - was expecting the couple's first child together.
Speaking to TMZ at the time, he proudly said: "I'm excited for this next chapter in my life, I'm the happiest I've ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad."
