Post Malone teases new music video filmed in Scotland following Glasgow gig

US singer and songwriter Post Malone has teased an upcoming music video filmed in Scotland.

Taking to his Instagram to update music fans on what's to come, the singer who's real name is Austin Richard Post, said he couldn't wait for fans to hear his new music - and see the video he had worked hard on.

Speaking in a video he said: "I'm here on tour in Europe and I wanted to tell you guys I have a new album coming out this summer on July 28.

"It's called Austin, like me, that is my name."

He added: "It's been some of the funnest music and some of the most challenging and rewarding music, for me at least, really trying to push myself and really do some cool stuff.

Talking about his songs Chemical and Mourning, the latter of which is set to be released on May 19, the singer then said that he just shot scenes in Scotland for an upcoming music video.

He continued: "On Friday I have another song called Mourning but I'm super excited to get that out for you guys.

"We just shot a music video in Scotland, it's absolutely stunning up there and there's a big a** ice cube in it which I thought was pretty bada**."

It's unclear when the music video will be released with his fans - Scottish included - having to wait and see when it will be released and where exactly he filmed it.

It comes as the singer recently performed in Glasgow with the 27-year-old giving one lucky Glaswegian help towards a new home after he heard him perform at a bar in the city centre.

Gregor Hunter Coleman, who often sings in Glasgow's Wunderbar, finished playing his set when he was called over to meet the US singer, who had just finished his gig at Glasgow's SSE Hydro.

On Instagram, Gregor shared a photo of himself and the US singer with the local calling it a "life changing experience."
