‘Positively clueless, and essentially useless’: Mike Johnson has a habit of not knowing anything about stuff that really matters, and it does not go unnoticed

It is common knowledge that House Speaker Mike Johnson would not let go of any opportunity to waste when it comes to maligning the Democrats. Throughout the period of the government shutdown, which started on October 1 this year, Johnson has appeared in front of cameras and repeatedly lied to create greater division among the American people than what already exists.

In light of this, many observers have pointed out a striking yet unsurprising trend in Johnson’s behaviour in the past couple of months. A compilation video put together by The Daily Show has surfaced on the internet, showcasing several moments where Johnson has skillfully avoided tough questions that might paint United States President Donald Trump or other members of the Republican Party in a negative light. This video has quickly gained popularity across various social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter).

In this compilation, viewers can see Mike Johnson dodging several questions about the concerning nature of the relationship between Donald Trump and disgraced financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as well as inquiries about several Republican figures who have recently been accused of corruption and other offences. The clips also cover but do not feature additional topics, ranging from serious ethical issues to more lighthearted subjects, all of which Johnson allegedly has no clue about because he is too busy. Busy doing what? The government is in shutdown, and his Republican brothers and sisters have been boycotting work since it came into effect.

One commenter under an X video of Johnson refusing to answer controversial questions wrote:

“Mike… IS POSITIVELY CLUELESS, and essentially useless. Should he not be, then he is a twisted, twisting liar. Either way, the gnome is a puppet… and, We The People… pay him for this?”

Another made a similar observation and wrote:

“Mike Johnson’s “not my lane” mantra isn’t humility, it’s the GOP’s fancy way of saying “Trump’s messes are off-limits,” while America foots the bill for his shutdown circus.”

Many others echoed similar sentiments about Mike Johnson on the platform. On a different note, is his back okay? Given his apparent lack of a spine, it should definitely hurt.
