Football fans everywhere have been holding their breath and hoping for the best for New England Patriots rookie cornerback Isaiah Bolden after a scary injury in Saturday’s preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
Bolden suffered a head injury when colliding with a teammate as he attempted to make a tackle in the fourth quarter. After the play, the defensive back was lying motionless on the ground for several minutes, before he was taken off the field on a stretcher.
Both the Patriots and Packers agreed to suspend play and call an early end to the game.
It was revealed that Bolden had feeling in his lower extremities, but the hospital was keeping him overnight as a precaution. However, on Sunday, in a follow-up, fans got the news they were hoping to hear.
Bolden was released from the hospital and allowed to travel back home with his teammates.

Bolden is OK, and he gets to continue doing what he loves to do. You couldn’t ask for a better ending to a situation that could have turned out much worse.
