The second phase of improvements will start south of the Killen Junction and on the Tore Roundabout at 8pm on Thursday, October 10.
These works are set to take place across seven nights with all improvements completed by 6am on Saturday, October 19.
No work will take place on Friday, October 11 or Saturday, October 12.
Temporary traffic lights with a convoy system and a 10mph speed limit will be used each night the work is taking place.
Outside of working hours, the impacted portions of the A9 will be open but subject to a speed restriction of 30mph as drivers will be using a temporary surface.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “This crucial surfacing project on the A9 between Tore Roundabout and the B9169 will fix existing defects and significantly enhance the driving experience for all motorists.
“Our teams are committed to executing these works quickly and with safety as our top priority. We extend our gratitude to the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.
“To minimise delays, we recommend that motorists plan their journeys in advance by consulting the Traffic Scotland website for real-time travel updates.”
