Niall Currie has wasted no time boosting Portadown's Premiership survival survival hopes with the announcement of no fewer than FIVE new signings.
The transfer window may only have opened on Sunday but the Ports were quick off the mark bringing in Aaron Canning, Cathair Friel, Chris Rodgers, Lee Chapman and Eoghan McCawl.
Defender Cannng will be hoping the move to Portadown can reignite his career after falling out of favour at The Showgrounds.

The talented centre half started his career with his hometown club Limavady United before moving to Coleraine.
Spells away from the Bannsiders saw him star for Loughgall and Glenavon before he eventually found his way back to the Ballycastle Road in 2018.
Striker Friel joins the Ports in a loan deal from the Bannsiders with Canning making a permanent switch to Shamrock Park.
Friel, who was out on loan at Championship club Institute in the first part of this season, has already worked under Niall Currie during a loan spell at Carrick Rangers before he made the switch to Coleraine.
Another player to work under Currie is Lee Chapman with the right back joining the Ports from Dundela.
Chris Rodgers also links up with Niall Currie and Clifford Adams again, who he played under at Ballyclare Comrades, Carrick Rangers and of course, Dundela.
And another Duns old boy moving to Shamrock Park is midfielder McCawl.
Meanwhile, Ballymena United have brought in full-back Robbie McVarnock from Newington.
