Portadown FC midfielder's joy after South Africa call-up for tournament

South Africa Portadown Premiership

Portadown midfielder Katlego Mashigo has voiced his joy after being called up to South Africa's preliminary squad for the COSAFA Cup.

The tournament - an annual competition for teams from Southern Africa - takes place from June 27 to July 17 in Durban.

Mashigo joined Portadown in January and went on to make 11 appearances for the club as they retained their Premiership status. He also signed a new deal with the Shamrock Park club earlier this month.
