Police in Port Talbot were out performing vehicle checks on Tuesday night in response to complaints of anti-social behaviour.
Officers patrolled Scarlet Avenue near the seafront in order to stop vehicles and carry out documentation checks.
South Wales Police Neath Port Talbot said on Twitter on Tuesday night: “PCs Rees and Burrow from T5 Response are currently patrolling Scarlet avenue Port Talbot in relation to ongoing vehicle ASB.
“Vehicles are being stopped and documentation checks conducted ^6399 ^6532.”
According to police.uk, 154 of the 907 crimes reported in the Neath Port Talbot area in December 2021 related to anti-social behaviour.
Over the last 12 months 357 vehicle crimes have been reported in the area.
