Port Adelaide recruit Quinton Narkle will make his club debut against his former AFL side Geelong as a replacement for Junior Rioli, who is ill.
Rioli woke up with the flu and was pulled out of the Power team for Thursday night's huge clash at Adelaide Oval.
It has opened the door for Narkle, who was plucked out of the VFL in the mid-season draft.
The 25-year-old played 41 games in five seasons with Geelong but missed out on last year's grand final team and was delisted at the end of the campaign.
Narkle starred with the Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL last week, gathering 33 possessions.
Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley said on Wednesday the midfielder is still adapting to his new club's style of play but was close to a debut.
Rioli has kicked 14 goals in 11 games with the Power since his off-season trade from West Coast.
