Popular soup sold across US recalled over can defect

  • Amy's Kitchen recalled over 15,000 12-count cases of its Organic Lentil Soup - Light Sodium due to potential spoilage caused by a lid defect.
  • This Class II recall , initiated in June, affects distribution in 27 U.S. states and parts of Canada, with other Amy's products remaining unaffected.
  • General Mills recalled nearly 736,000 Pillsbury Hard Roll Dough and Kaiser Roll Dough products over concerns of potential glass contamination .
  • These Pillsbury rolls, intended for businesses rather than individual consumers, were part of a recall also initiated in June.
  • Midwest Poultry Services recalled nearly 1.6 million dozen eggs distributed to Kroger and Brookshire Grocery stores across five states due to fears of Salmonella Enteritidis contamination, though no illnesses have been reported.
