Popular Nottinghamshire cafe owner announces plans to sell business

A cafe owner has announced plans to sell her business - and would love to return as a customer to enjoy the attractive garden she has spent years nurturing with staff and family. Elaine Harrison, who has run Eats n Treats in Eastwood for 11 years, said the time has come to slow down a little.

But that doesn't mean she's putting her feet up completely, since she runs two other businesses with her business partner, daughter Rachael. Elaine said:

"I have had quite a lot of interest. I've not accepted any offers but I've not yet put it on the open market. I've just put it on social media just to see if there are any local people interested. I would love it if someone local took over. I want to come as a customer and sit in the garden so I am hoping someone nice comes and takes it over and I can be the customer for a change."
