Popular Nottingham vegan cafe announces plans to open in second city centre location

One of Nottingham's best-loved vegan cafes has announced plans to move into a new location with a brand new menu. Prickly Pear, which has a cafe in Mansfield Road, will move into Golden Fleece on Jubilee weekend in June.

The business will take over the kitchen at the busy pub which was previously occupied by Thirteenth Element, which has moved into its own premises. The kitchen has been empty since the Thirteenth Element left in January.

The original cafe will remain focused on vegan Mexican food with favorites such as Mac & Cheeze, seitan strips and their popular death by doner which comes with plant-based doner 'meat' and warm flatbreads. The new menu will offer more pub favorites including Sunday roast dinners.
