A popular Lanarkshire restaurant has closed its doors due challenges within the industry.
Restaurant at No.2 in Bothwell, formerly Cutfish, shut down at the close of business of Sunday night.
Owners made the announcement on social media stating their decision had "not been taken lightly."
All staff, based at the Silverwells Crescent in the village, have, however, been offered alternative employment and owners have said they hope to re-open at a later date.
Posting to Facebook, they wrote: "It is with regret we inform you that the Restaurant at No2 will close at the end of service on Sunday, October 16.
"Operating any business in the current climate is very challenging, but this decision has not been taken lightly.
"The restaurant service has been under strain with the lack of staff within the industry, we do not want to allow the quality of our product and service to continue to be affected by staff shortages.
"We are glad to announce all staff have been offered alternative employment.
"We aim to re-open in early 2023. We will announce our future plans as soon as we have them."
The restaurant offered a 15 per cent discount to customers over their closing weekend.
